What does your form parser do with return
characters in text boxes? Is there any way
to account for them?

Hi
How do I handle multipart/form-data.
And also how could I access the <STDIN> and submit the input to another
URL?
thanks

Jason,
Very good article. I am relative newcomer to the world of web development and getting my first exposure to Javascript/HTML and CGI enviroments. I hope to learn more Javascript and Java and optimally XML.
Keep up the good work!

I’m so glad I’ve ran into this page. If all the books that I have on Perl, had this explanation in the first chapter, I would save myself a lot of time.

This article came SOO close to helping me out. But then you had to stop and NOT tell me how to call individual variables from a string or hash and place it in HTML output. Damn.

Too technical

I just want to create a form and have it submitted via email in the format of the field names and the data entered into those fields each on a seperate line.
Your article, although very thorough on the command definitions, does not offer much in the way of a "how to".
Comments:
Your example page, when you fillout the form and click on submit, you get an error page. Therefore, the tutorial is not very helpful.
Thought you ought to be aware of this error.
Have a nice day,
Kitti
